Notice Board

Located within the center of the city was a board the army had set up in order to collect a greater amount of war funds. The concept was that the Holodian people would pay a fine for posting any type of work they needed done, and a soldier would take care of it.

Unfortunately, the army hasn't sent any soldiers to take care of these requests. Most of the requests are weeks--months old. This leaves the people desperate for any sort of help they can receive.

"Adventurers. We have reason to believe there are enemy spies within our great walls of our city Horon. Seeing as most of the guardsmen are off fighting in the war, we have requested those of you with some brains and free time, and who want to be payed, to help sort this problem out. It might be worth it beginning in the marketplace as there are bound to be some citizens who might have seen any suspicious characters. Good luck."

Aah, this brings back some memories. Dao never thought that he would see
something like this again.

It reminded him of the raids they
made during the Seven-Year War. Deja-vu. It seems like they had never
set sail before and only went back in time.

Supplies were
scarce. People were desperate. Ah, well. While he signed up for Caravan
Raiders, the mustached man felt his materialistic side gnawing at him.

Maybe
his intentions were not so pure after all.

Quint felt about his person for something to write with.

"Erm...Either of you got something to write
with?" Quint turned to Lilah and Hob as he asked them.

"I'm a fairy. What do you think?"
Hob said in a sarcastic tone, as if to imply that Quint was stupid.
Annoyed, Quint softly batted Hob away with the back of his hand and then
looked to Lilah for assistance.

"Hmph.
Here you are. What would you do without me, eh?" Lilah
giggled as she handed Quint a pen from his pocket.

"Well I wouldn't get stabbed in the gut by
undead pirate Captains for a start..." Quint murmured as he
wrote his name down on the notice board for some caravan gig.

"What was that?"

"Nothing..."

"These things seem to
pop up with surprising regularity."

Caravans seemed to be popular targets for any random shoe with
enough rupees to hire a troop of mercenaries. Even worse, the guy who
posted this notice seemed to have referred to his wife as an 'it'.
Still, if there was a poor woman, she deserved saving. He signed his
name and left.

After reading the notice board Lexianos who was eager for a bit of action was quick to sign for this.

"Caravans..how typical and this time it isnt to rescue the damn thing, that makes a pleasant change, I wonder if i'll get to kill anything"

Lexianos spots a new quest on the noticeboard about a solid steel Goron and began to chuckle

"Hmm now that sounds like my idea of fun, might as well sign up for this Eye Spy quest while i'm here as well"

Quint and Lilah strolled in, with Hob hovering behind them. The pair of them read the two new quests that had been added.

"I got an idea...Wanna compete? I'll take...Erm...The Goron one, and you take the spy one. When we're done, we'll see how well we did. How about it?" Quint suggested, and although it sounded like he wanted to have fun, he ddn't mention it was ecause he wanted ot get away from her for a while.

"Hmm, okay! Bet you I can be a better adventurer!" Lilah answered, oblivious to Quints true thoughts and then signed her name, kissed Quint on the cheek and left.

"You have a plan right? because you can't keep her away forever to stop him from getting her..." Hob's voice sounded in Quints head, however he gave no voice nor thought for an answer, and quietly left the building.

I walked up to the board to see many of the tasks already taken or very old. But two cot my eye. one about an enemy spy in the city and one about a giant silver goron. I took both quest thinking that they would hopefully be relevantly easy. I thought the spy one would be no real hassle, but for the silver goron, I didn't know what to expect. I had herd stories of a giant goron that lived in hyrule but never of a giant silver goron attacking people.

Whatever it meant it was my problem now.

Glenn had finally returned to Horon, and as he strolled through the city he noticed a notice board.

Doesn't this bring back memories...?

He scribbled his name across "The First Abomination" quest, and went on his merry way.
